bb99cents aka Hoa Nguyen (she/they) is studying for a masters in gender studies at HU Berlin with a scholarship at the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung. They are a multimedia artist, specialising in short and experimental movies. Her artistic and academic work revolves around the entanglement of migration and the service work sector, along the example of asian owned nail salons in Germany.
